Follow the sunlight as it travels around the world . The Sun shines on new friends in new places . Some of these children are very much like you , and some are different . Some of the places are similar to the place where you live , and some are not . But all of these friends love to sing and play .

I am Chang-yong , and I am ten years old.My family lives in an apartment in Seoul , the capital of South Korea . I go to a laboratory school where I study science and mathematics. My friends and I play baseball after school.

On special days , I dress in a shiny silk jacket called a hanbok ( HAN-BOK ) . Many generations of Koreans have worn hanboks for formal occasions . I enjoy eating barbecued beef , which Koreans call bulgogi ( bul-go-gee) It's a delicious food !

在特殊的日子里，我穿上一件闪闪发光的丝绸夹克衫，叫做韩服。很多韩国人在正式场合都穿韩服。我喜欢吃烤牛肉，韩国人把它叫做bulgogi（bulgogee）。这是一种美味的食物！

Hi , Jessica is my name . I'm an Aboriginal Australian Aborigines have lived in Australia for tens of thousands of years . I am six years old , and my younger brother Is four . We live with our mother and grandmother in the country . My mother works as a cook.

My brother and I like to throw the boomerang outside our house . Aborigines used boomerangs to hunt many animals ,including birds and kangaroos . A kangaroo is an animal that lives only in Australia . We like to watch the kangaroos hop around our yard.

It gets very cold in Moscow in the winter . I wear a heavy coat and a fur hat called an ushanka ( OO-SHAHN-KUH ) to keep me warm . My ushanka has earflaps to keep my ears warm , too . I wear my ushanka when I make snow angels and build snow houses . Sometimes when I come inside . we eat buckwheat flour pancakes called bliny ( Blee-nee).

莫斯科的冬天很冷。我穿一件厚外套，戴一顶叫ushanka（OO-SHAHN-KUH）的毛皮帽子，以保暖。我的ushanka也有耳罩，以保持耳朵的温暖。我在制作雪天使和建造雪屋时穿ushanka。有时我进屋时，我们吃一种叫blyny（布莱尼）的荞麦面薄饼。

Hello , my name is Manka ( Mahn-kah )and I live in Tanzania . My people are called Masai . Most of us live in wooden huts with grass roofs called enkajis ( en-kaw-jees) My father and the other men take care of the cattle . Cattle are very important to Masai people .

The women build the enkajis , make jewelry out of beads , and carry water from the well. I enjoy wearing my beautiful beaded collar and making toys out of the soft clay . I hope you will stay longer the next time you visit!

Hi , I am called Kipanik ( Kee-pa-nik ) , and my people are Inuit . We live in far northern Canada near the Arctic Circle . It is snowy and cold most of the time here . My family often usesa dogsled to travel through areas covered with snow . We have a team of dogs that work hard pulling us whereever  we need to go.
