《The family book》是孩子们了解世界上不同家庭的一个窗口，绘本用动物或人类的家庭阐述一个关于“家”的认识，大家族、离异再婚、收养的子女、不同肤色的结合、不同生活方式等等这些问题都在绘本中用简单的语言展现。但绘本的主题仍然是家的温暖关爱，孩子们在了解不同家庭的同时，也会体验到家庭之爱。
